About burj khalifa.

The Burj Khalifa is a skyscraper located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. At 828 meters (2,716 feet) tall, it is currently the world's tallest building. It was designed by the architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and was completed in 2010.

The building is named after Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates. It was built to be the centerpiece of a new development called Downtown Dubai, which includes residential, commercial, and hotel buildings.

The Burj Khalifa has a total of 163 floors, including 154 usable floors. The building is divided into three sections: the Armani Hotel Dubai (floors 1-8), residential apartments (floors 9-108), and office space (floors 110-154). The observation deck, called At the Top, is located on the 124th floor and offers panoramic views of Dubai.

The building's design was inspired by Islamic architecture, and its exterior features a pattern of petals that were inspired by a regional desert flower. The façade is made up of reflective glass and aluminum panels, which help to reduce the amount of heat that enters the building.

The Burj Khalifa has won numerous awards for its design and engineering, and it has become an iconic symbol of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. It is a popular tourist attraction and has helped to establish Dubai as a global center for business, tourism, and innovation.
