About India

 India is a country located in South Asia, bordered by Pakistan to the west, China and Nepal to the north, Bhutan to the northeast, Bangladesh and Myanmar to the east, and the Indian Ocean to the south. India is the seventh-largest country in the world by area and the second-most populous country, with a population of over 1.3 billion people.

India is also known for its landmarks and tourist attractions, such as the Taj Mahal, the Himalayas, and the beaches of Goa. The country is home to a number of famous personalities in the fields of literature, arts, music, and sports, including Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore, Ravi Shankar, Sachin Tendulkar, and Virat Kohli.
