You can apply for a PAN (Permanent Account Number) card in India by following these steps:
Visit the NSDL (National Securities Depository Limited) or UTIITSL (UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Limited) website.
Click on the "Apply for new PAN card" or "Apply for PAN card" link.
Select the category of PAN card you want to apply for, i.e., individual, company, partnership firm, etc.
Fill in the application form with your personal and contact details, such as your name, date of birth, address, phone number, and email address.
Upload the required documents, such as proof of identity (Aadhaar card, driving license, voter ID, passport, etc.), proof of address (electricity bill, bank statement, ration card, etc.), and proof of date of birth (birth certificate, passport, school leaving certificate, etc.).
Pay the application fee using net banking, credit/debit card, or demand draft.
After submitting the application, you will receive an acknowledgement receipt with a 15-digit acknowledgement number.
The PAN card will be dispatched to the address mentioned in the application form within 15-20 working days.
Note: You can also apply for a PAN card offline by filling up the form 49A and submitting it along with the required documents and fee at any authorized PAN card center.
