Linking your PAN (Permanent Account Number) card with Aadhaar card in India is a simple process and can be done in two ways:

Through the Income Tax e-filing portal:

Step 1: Visit the Income Tax e-filing portal at https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home

Step 2: Click on the link "Link Aadhaar" under the Quick Links section on the left-hand side of the page.

Step 3: Enter your PAN, Aadhaar number, and name as per Aadhaar. Then, enter the captcha code and click on the "Link Aadhaar" button.

Step 4: A pop-up message will appear confirming the successful linking of Aadhaar with PAN.

Through SMS:

Step 1: Send an SMS to 567678 or 56161 in the following format: UIDPAN<SPACE><12 digit Aadhaar><SPACE><10 digit PAN>

Step 2: You will receive a message confirming the linking of Aadhaar with PAN.

Note: As per the recent Supreme Court ruling, it is mandatory to link your PAN with Aadhaar for income tax purposes. The last date to link your PAN with Aadhaar is currently 31 March 2023, but it may be extended further.
